Rescue organizations are at the forefront of our over-population problems. They mobilize at a moment’s notice when alerted to a dog or a cat that is in harm’s way (whether left by a roadway, thrown from a car, or running loose in rock pits with no food or shelter). They answer the call 24 hours a day and somehow manage to rescue hundreds of animals a year and get them medical attention and a safe place to stay until they are adopted.
Some use hospitals to house their rescue animals and many use the best resource, which are foster homes. These homes are preferred, if possible, as they allow the animal to be in a home environment around people and other animals giving them a sense of security. But, in either, case at least the animals are safe and not in a high-kill shelter.

Our foundation will support the efforts of these groups by promoting them within the community. We will sponsor events for adoptions of their rescue animals and provide funds, as needed, to support some of their rescue efforts.
Above is a list of contact information of the current rescue organizations we support. Each has proven itself to be a legitimate 501(c)(3) rescue and a responsible organization, using good care in housing and protecting the animals under their care.
